I am using ODBCSS (on WNT and W2000 machines) also on non critical application at all, however sometimes the ODBCSS becomes hanged when some php script on a html page was not completed or the user call another page before the SQL operation where completed. On that situation we have to reset the ODBCSS service from the Services windows and then the ODBCSS resumes fine. Even though this not a dessirable condition for nobody, so I think that one alternative is neccesary to use in this case. I am using also ODBCSS to access MSAccess mainly, even I use ODBCSS for Oracle, and another DBMSs. About your Script, I am interested on it and I would like to see how you implement this alternative. ould you sendme a copy of this script please?, I wil appreciatte your help. |
