I agree in one respect - PHP works fine the way it is. Object orientation just ends up being a hack right now. Objects should be used when appropriate, but to try to emulate Java or C# is pretty futile. This doesn't make PHP inadequate - it simply makes it so that it's NOT Java.

If you need this kind of object oriented power - you really should be using Java or C#. Don't try to fig a square peg in a round hole.
