By: Giancarlo Subject: Usage of the program I used this system in the past, but in a different way. If you make an email catchall for a domain, so that all emails for a domain come to the same account, you can set up a .forward (or a .mailfilter) for the account to call the script (the same way the article does) but in the called CLI script do not post the email, but rather INSERT the data in a database, with a separate field for the destination. You can now give your users their personalized email@yourdomain.com ! Simply run a cron job to clean all emails you don't wish to accept every hour and all messages older than 60 days to purge accounts ala Hotmail... Et voilą! |
