By: Dave Subject: Incredibly simple potential solution... I just veered on to this while searching for something else, but I couldn't help but try to respond. Some months back, I was having this particular issue and was totally frustrated to find out what was wrong. I just found a solution but I don't remember where. Here is what I remember: 1.) I had a notice of this when I started the application. There was a file named. 2.) I went to that file and then went to the bottom of the file. In my text editor (UltraEdit) I noticed there were some extra spaces at the end of the file. There were no characters evident, so they were some escaped characters or hidden values. I don't know what they were, but these characters were being read by the application and causing the problem. 3.) When I removed these characters in the the editor and saved the file, the application began immediately. This is certainly an easy fix and worth trying. Dave |
