By: Ka Wai Cheung Subject: X2O - db driven Flex apps, no server coding I’d highly recommend taking a look at the X2O Framework (www.x2oframework.com). It’s a web-based data modeling platform that essentially handles all the client-server integration for you. Basically, you define your data model over the web and it will generate a database, a secure CMS, web services, and a SWC library you can use to interact with your data model. No hosting setup, database development, server-side programming, or remoting integration…instead, it lets you focus on building your application. You’ll definitely appreciate its elegance if you’ve ever had to coordinate with a backend team or build the database/server infrastructure yourself. |
