By: Dan Blaisdell Subject: PHP ORM for Shared Servers This is a great article. I love ORMs for PHP and I have used Propel for a long time. The problem with Propel is that it is impossible to set up in a shared environment, so I created DABL, which is just like Propel, but has less files and can be installed on any server with php 5. It builds classes for every database and includes a Query class so you can build queries without raw sql if you'd like.
