Error during 'Make' Apache with PHP module

I have had no trouble installing Apache, MySQl and PHP4. But during integrating PHP module with Apache, I get the following message
make[4]--- No rule to make target ../../include/alloc.h needed by mod_php4.o

Appreciate any help in understanding and solving this problem
