original poster messing up?

just been browsing a thread (http://www.phpbuilder.com/board/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2100733) and when i was in the thread the user who posted the original message appeared as Anon with 65500 posts. I have seen this a few times tonight, and know this is not the case.

The vB user "Anon" got credit for all of the Anonymous posts on the old board. And there were a lot of them, but 65535 (or is it 65536?) is the max value for post counts in the database.

but that's not what happened...

in the board view, the thread showed as being owned by a name (not anon). when i went into the thread and replied, the original poster showed as anon. is it still keeping the poster id in the board view?

Yes, it's Anon, but the name that was entered on the old board is showing up. If you look at their profile you'll see "email Anon".
