For Me - Show: The Simpsons - Movie: The Matrix Mordecai 05-26-2003, 10:17 PM Favorite Show: Well, don't really watch TV, but it's probably The Family Guy. Favorite Movie: The Fifth Element goldbug 05-26-2003, 10:35 PM TV: The majority of the Adult Swim lineup as a whole (spec. AquaTeen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021, Brak Show, Harvey Birdman) Movie: four-way-tie.: Big Lebowski, Spaceballs, Office Space, and The Virgin Suicides. (yeah, the last one kinda sticks out like a sore thumb, I know, but tough!) Mordecai 05-26-2003, 10:42 PM Hmm, Virgin Suicides? Never heard of it. I haven't seen the Big Labowski, but I've heard of that. Also, Adult Swim is about all I watch. :) stolzyboy 05-26-2003, 11:34 PM TV: CSI-Miami Movie: The Die Hard's | The Lethal Weapon's // Hard to narrow a fav movie the_myth 05-26-2003, 11:58 PM The Family Guy rules... I didn't get to catch it much on fox. I heard something about the Cartoon Network picking it up. Sxooter 05-27-2003, 12:23 AM Sealab 2021, even the Bizarro episode, the completely straight episode, and the "Grizzlebees" episode. Cowboy Bebop. The show that defines it's own genre. Crossing Jordan, Jell Hennesy (sp) and Miguel Ferrer (sp) and the rest of the cast make this show. Gilligan's Island. Good mindless fun from my youth. Babylon 5. The first SF show feature both computer generated graphics AND physics discussions with the creator on the internet. Extra points for anyone who knows how many machines / horsepower the first render farm was. Londo and G'kar should have their own talk show. Southpark, Futurama, The Simpsons er Third Watch BuzzLY 05-27-2003, 01:22 AM CSI (only the original), Simpsons, South Park, Match Game PM (it's on in 5 minutes!) Toy Story, Matrix, Spider-Man, and The Court Jester. TheNookie 05-27-2003, 05:07 AM TV Show: I dont really whatch TV, but "Its A Man's World" was quite funny, too bad it isnt shown here anymore... Movie: "The Hot Chick", I know, both the "TV Show" and the "Movie" are with Rob Schneider :p he's so cool :D. And most of the Nicolas Cage movies are nice. (Buzzly, remember that SP episode with "Rob Schneider isss...... A CARROT! :D) Bunkermaster 05-27-2003, 05:15 AM TV Show : GITS SAO Movie : The Keep/Akira/Grand Canyon (dunno which) Elizabeth 05-27-2003, 09:15 AM TV - TNN's Most Extreme Elimination Challenge is really the only show I look forward to watching... the rest of my viewing is a byproduct of my own lack of motivation :) Movies - Uncle Buck, The Quiet Man, anything MP, Fish Called Wanda, Caddyshack, Stripes (yes, there is a pattern...) -Elizabeth jllydgnt 05-27-2003, 11:18 AM For those of you who care, The Ben Stiller Show is being released on DVD on June 3rd. All 13 episodes in a two-disc set. The show was cancelled after only one season, yet it won the Emmy for comedy writing. Go figure. Anyway, I highly recommend it. "Look at my teeth, they rule you!" dartcol 05-29-2003, 11:59 AM TV show: Check out The Office from the UK Film: There are so many bit if I have to choose then I have to say two: One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and Rear Window blitzwing 05-29-2003, 12:07 PM I've been watching Futurama every night lately, so I guess that's my show of choice right now. My favorite movie would have to be Black Hawk Down. A superb movie version of the book, with only one large change from the book that I can think of. Sxooter 05-29-2003, 12:35 PM Three more for my list. Ivanhoe by the BBC / A&E (5 hours long, great show, great casting, great fight scenes.) The guy who play Brian deBoise Gilbert is fantastic. Beavis and Butthead do America. Office Space. stolzyboy 05-29-2003, 02:41 PM Ummmm...............Yeaaaaahhh..............I'mmmmmmmm Gonna need you to......go ahead and ummmmmm....... add Office Space to my list too ahundiak 05-29-2003, 02:53 PM TV: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Junkyard Wars Movies: Too expensive for me. Sxooter 05-29-2003, 06:06 PM 15 pieces of flare is the minimum. You don't want to just do the minimum now, do you? and no, you can't have my red swingline stapler. It doesn't jam up like the bostiches do. I even kept staples for it. the_myth 05-29-2003, 08:08 PM Anyone else addicted to channels like the History Channel or TLC? I'm into documentaries. Sxooter 05-30-2003, 01:49 PM I love the history channel (affectionately known as the "war and gore" channel...) and TLC. Also, the shows on at 2:00 am on PBS about world world II, where they show all the big moving arrows and such. Other favorite show in that kinda genre is "Great Chefs" I have four of the cook books from there, and there are some damn fine recipes. A bit too much pate for my taste, but otherwise great. goldbug 05-30-2003, 02:29 PM Unfortunately, I don't have a desk by the window, so I cannot see the squirrels enough to determine if they are/were merry. I am, however, a no-talent ass clown. jllydgnt 05-30-2003, 04:54 PM The history channel is awesome, although at times it seems more like the Hitler channel. I mean that stuff is interesting, but they seem to devote a lot of time to it. Bunkermaster 05-31-2003, 01:31 PM Office room... Lawyer named Rob Newhouse ... ROFLPMSLMAO :D Great movie :D thanks for pointing it Elizabeth 05-31-2003, 11:37 PM Ok, I'll admit. I'm a big geek who didn't see Office Space. But apparently that's on the "must see" list- so I guess I'll be renting it soon eh?
