Got an arts gallery (personal project) that has been built with some old coleagues. They've moved on and I'd love to find someone to join and help finish of a few bits'n bobs that are still hanging around.

Been grinding through the mauals, but in the end I'm a lesser brain than others.

Any input appreciated. See: waterperryarts.com

i'm not particularly an art lover, or though i do have a few favourite artists.

this is not a shameless plug, but i've done a photo gallery for some of my stuff. at the moment, you just upload the pics into directories, and the dirs are treated as galleries and all is done automatically, but i've been thinking about linking it all into a db.

take a look, it's linked off http://www.adamhopkinson.co.uk/ and i can make the source available to you - it has some good examples of thumbnail creation, directory browsing etc.

let me know if i can help

This may not be related, but I'm a huge fan of abstract art.

That site is really well done. Good colours, extremely easy to navigate. Over all, just completely well done.

and yes, I love art :D

I also really liked the waterperryarts site- nice clean look, and great for us art lovers. I always thought if I won the lottery, I would buy some awesome art that spoke to me, regardless of the price.

The only suggestion I might make (and this is so picky I can't believe I'm even bringing it up :) ) would be to indicate which page of the gallery you're currently browsing... I tend to navigate by page number and I kept forgetting which page I was on. Totally picayune, I know - sorry :)
