Access to my server is not available

Installed on phpdev (php, apache, mysql) on windows 2K. It is Ok to access the webserver from the local machine (http://localhost), but when accessing from other machine using valid domain name, there is a warning message:

Fordden

You don't have permission to access /biorefining on this server.

Anything to do with the apache setting or outside access to the computer is blocked by the network people?

Hmm... What server are you using?
It sounds like something is wrong with your vhost, perhaps you need to add certain referrals or something?

I tried the IP address, and I was able to access the root folder (/www, the documentroot) but no subfolders (e.g. /www/myfolder).

Please help.
