[Resolved] changing file permission in XP

Hai friends,
I am new to this forum i have installed PHP in windows XP
i want to upload files into some directory so that i want to change mode of that directory to read,write permission how can i do this
please help me

turn of simple file sharing in folderoptions/view.. after that, right click on the file u want to chmod (change permissions to) and click sharing and security... the security tab is what you want.. after that change what u want and press okay.. simple as that.. i don't know why ms made it so that was hidden by default.. but w/e!
