Boredom with a TI-83 (graphing calculator made by Texas Instruments) leads to things like this (http://personal.caiphp.com/trogdor.png). Sorry for the bad quality and the reflection, I don't have the cables to transfer the image.

If you don't know what Trogdor is, go here (http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail58.html).
To play the game (hmm.. maybe I'll be bored again tomorrow? ;)) go here (http://www.homestarrunner.com/trogdor.html).

You are my hero. :D

Next year, in Algebra II I'm going to have to make a picture on the calculator using different functions, Trogdor wouldn't be a bad character to try. :)

I also did a pirate pac-man... He had a bandana and a scimitar. Since he doesn't have any arms, he carried it in his mouth (don't ask me how, I just kinda stuck it in there).

I used to do this kind of stuff all the time on my Ti85 in middleschool or so, its what got me addictied to programming!

Of course we had access to Zshell ( http://www.acc.umu.se/~yarin/ti85.html) , which made some really cool little games and things.

You can base it off the original image here (http://personal.caiphp.com/che-guevara.png) (or my avatar for a smaller version).

Uh huh...

If you're talking about the drawings I did, I did Trogdor, Pac-Man, and Che Guevara.

Cue Star Trek fight music...

LOL!

Good TI-83 work!

I've vaguely used those calculators in my Functions and Relations class. Nothing special, just x vs. y plots and such. I never knew you could do that sort of thing with it.

Awesome :D

That's good stuff, Mordecai. Reminds me of my college days, except I used (still use) an HP 48gx. I remember one time I got a program to turn it into a remote control (it has an IR port)... the auditorium type chemistry class I took had two huge TVs hanging from the ceiling at the front of the class... you can just guess the hours of fun I had with that.

Office Space is in my top 5 all time movies. It's already a classic.

"I'll go ahead and make sure you get another copy of that memo."
