really starting to annoy me now, defies all logic....
i have myodbc on my machine, iv set up a user, ip address is right, username / password is right, and i hit the 'test connection' button... i get
"/usr/bin/safe_mysqld: line 194: 10571 Segmentation fault ( trap ""; exec $NOHUP_NICENESS $ledir/mysqld $defaults --basedir=$MY_BASEDIR_VERSION --datadir=$DATADIR --user=$user --pid-file=$pid_file --skip-locking "$@" >>$err_log 2>&1 )"
on the ssh command line.... and the moment i do something along the lines of
"kill all the flippin hanging mysqld processes"
i get an error on the myodbc panel 'lost connection during query'....
yeah; you were murdering the box, so i stopped you...
anyway. anyone know why this might happen?
