*poke* You should closed your bold tags. ^_^
So why did you choose the bouncy balls as your avatar? ;)
piersk

The bouncy balls are a rip-off of a gif I found on our union bulletin board. That gif had just one ball and so i edited it so there were two bouncing in opposite directions.

I have a really bad reputation for bein dirty minded don't I. Can't think why...
Anyway, the reason I don't come on IRC at the moment is because the only computers I have access to at the moment are on campus and they frown upon IRC.
Getting broadband in my house soon tho :D

Give me some credit. Nothing can beat the original.

Two words. Jason Statham.
He definitely beats the original, and it earned him a place in the elite Elizabeth's top 5.

Is that along with me, Stolzy and Dalecosp?
Actually, where is Dale? I haven't seen him around for a while...

Actually, where is Dale? I haven't seen him around for a while... Well, here I am. And I've been on /freenode#phpbuilder, but I noticed you said you'd quit that.
Summertime, y'know...I've lots on the platter, and most of it's outside. Except work.
And work. The more I talk here, the less $$ I bring in. I know have a little flashing red number that pops up whenever I open my intranet site and log in, and it keeps telling me to "work harder, play less, or when the bank starts charging interest in Jan '05, you'll be up to your eyeballs in debt...."
Enough of that.
I in no way expect to be on Elizabeth's top 5. I'm just honored to know her and speak to her when appropriate. If we both find time.
That in no way means I hate Piersk, either. Life's funny, eh?
What changed? Ex-g/f? "I'm sorry?" or "I'm glad you got that straight?"
Should I rent "the Italian Job" and become more culturally enlightened?

Heheh.. He's got to be one of my favorite actors (definately gotta see Snatch).
I happened to love the remake.
Dale, definately go rent it.. well worth the watch.

Is that along with me, Stolzy and Dalecosp? Piers, now, do we have to go over the rules yet again? You guys are real, normal (albeit that's debatable) guys that I actually know. Unfortunately you cannot be included in the top 5. No matter how hot you all may be.

The more I talk here, the less $$ I bring in.Ah yes, but the nice thing is you can write it off as 'education expense' - I know I've learned a lot since I began coming here (some things perhaps I could have lived my whole life without knowing (http://www.phpbuilder.com/board/showthread.php?s=&postid=10507239&highlight=waxing#post10507239)) but educational nonetheless.

That movie was totally awesome, as well.
I attribute that mostly to Luc Besson, though. :)
Watched it one time (Easter, in fact) and had the DVD the next day.. so.. yeah.

This year I even filed an extension (1st ever) and I still don't know that I'm close to being done.
Can you spell "middle age crisis"??? :D

ROFL...
Of course, it's actually called "mid-life crisis" by most; also, it's probably a crock.
As for Porsche vs. Ferrari, I often barely has gas $$ for the Ford; plus (maybe Mordecai knows) there's no dealership nearby... KC, maybe? Not too far ...
Of course, for less money I could probably live out that "geek's dream" from Office Space ... although I guess it might not last as long ....
And why ruin a perfectly good relationship....
:bemused: Whatever, I do thank you for your support....

Well, we've got MotorCars here in Springfield, they've got a couple Ferraris and Lamborghinis and stuff like that. They even have a Bentley in stock now (w00t!).
So.. yeah. :)

Yeah, Mordecai, I forget how "uptown" Spfld is getting. Like the Limo factory (and IIRC, J Howard Fisk's been there since *I* was a kid...)
But, really, now. Ferrari? Lamborghini? For the same money as a 575 Maranello I could have a nice Lexus and spend a 3-day weekend with a nice lady who's an ex-NFL cheerleader and cover girl for a national magazine (aherm) every month for about 2 years, give or take...
But, I'm in no way likely to do any of it...and $$ is only part of the issue.
Just feelin' old and tired, that's all.
:D Even Elizabeth is safe, trust me....
Or maybe I should say "especially Elizabeth is safe..." --- Gotta watch out for that LART ....

Just changed a few bits a pieces. Like the fact that I'm 24 now (is your birthday notifier still working dale?)
dalecosp
12-12-2005, 01:42 PM
(is your birthday notifier still working dale?)Well, yes; more or less, anyway.
Happy Birthday (this last Saturday) BTW :o
It's working fine; locally, that is. Unfortunately, I've been busy enough of late that I hadn't noticed a misconfiguration of my mail filter rules. I set up rules to discard mails that said "No PHPBuilder Birthdays today", but I checked also on Subject line and messed up the boolean (used OR instead of AND) so they've all been hitting the bit-bucket... (fixed now, thanks :) )
I'd been thinking to add database capabilities and actually put it on a page somewhere. Would anyone use it, though?
