I was just informed by a fellow atheist who monitors/lurks the http://christianbbs.com
that some of their members have been contacted by The Army of God http://www.armyofgod.com/
and asked to go to my amazon.com book (Christianity Exposed) page and post slandering reviews to discredit the book.
For a while now I was receiving strange and threatening emails from some 8 different christian fanatics and I believe they may be part of the AOG group.
If anything should happen to me at least someone knows/has an idea what may have happened.

P.S. Mike and Brian, have moved and change my name. PM me/email me for new contact mailing address and phone number.

That's so sad. Most Christians I know are decent caring people. Some of my best friends are Christians (I'm a witch by the way, so that's saying something...)
Why is there always some small group of militant "Christians" who think they are helping their religion by persecuting those that disagree with them?
And why do so many "good" Christians stand by and watch while it happens? Don't they know that it's just like that old Star Trek episode where eventually, the militant "Christians" are gonna turn on the other Christians if/when they run out of non-Christians to kill?
Fundamentalism is an ugly thing, whether it be from a Christian, Jew, Pagan, or Atheist.

Well I don't know about those christian friends you know and I keep hearing that most christians are good people but I never see any christians stand up against their own tyrants. Do you?
Where are the voices of the "christian leadership" speaking out gainst these tyrants? Nowhere. Why? Because they are silent symapthisers/supporters of the actions of such trash.
The moron who murdered that abortion doctor a while back was affiliated with the AOG and no xtian leader ever said a word against such actions.

Now, now, that's not entirely true. True Christianity teaches not to be a hypocrite, and not to announce your beliefs from the rooftops for all to hear. To publicly denounce something like that would not be a true Christian thing to do. If you were to go to almost any Christian church, however, you would find many people praying for those in need of help -- both the persecuted and persecutors alike. THAT is the true Christian reaction.
So, you may be correct, in a way -- those so-called Christian leaders that so many times make their agendas known may be silent in quiet acquiescence. That doesn't mean that the true Christian community agrees with such horrid actions. Please do not view the action (or inaction) of the public Christian leaders as representative of Christian values. It's simply not the case.

Hmm.. im a christian, and what buzzly said is very much true, i dont go around to people and go, hey man im a christian come and be one to.
Becoming a Christian is purely your choice, thus the reason people dont yell off there roof tops. Or make a big song or dance about it. Well maybe a song, there are many christian songs out there.
