Hey, just wondering who has the biggest apache .conf files out there. We run an intranet box at work that handles dozens of name based virtual servers, and the httpd.conf and access.conf files add up to 2805 lines, while a default set adds up to 1326...

Well, we've got 47 virtual hosts, and each one has something like 10 or more location containers in it. I was just wondering if anyone else had an apache config that was as crufty as mine. :)

About 31 vhost directives on two servers; which serve about 9 domains, IIRC. Part of the issue, I guess, is that for each one, you've got entries for www.host.com as well as host.com, and some have web-mail (mail.host.com) a couple SSL (secure.host.com) and then there's a few joke entries on my domain...

Plus the 1531 lines I gave you included the SSL config. I think a regular Apache would, as you stated, be quite a bit less....
