LordShryku 09-30-2003, 01:02 AM much better.... laserlight 09-30-2003, 07:12 AM "Let them eat cake" Well, I usually set it to block 3rd party cookies, but sometimes they get recognised as being from the originating website, apparently. bad76 09-30-2003, 07:25 AM As developer i let the default setting. So, on XP ie6 blocks 3rd party cookies, but on '98 and 2000 all is allowed... Moonglobe 09-30-2003, 11:39 AM allow 1st, block 3rd, i don't see a reason to do otherwise..... Merve 09-30-2003, 08:28 PM On my old Win95 machine, I was prompted for all cookies, and I usually didn't accept them. Now, I allow 1st party cookies, and I am prompted for 3rd party cookies. I only allow them if they're from some counter tracking site, most of which don't try to grab lots and lots of personal info, but I only accept these so called counter-cookies if I've heard of the counter site and I've heard that it's a good counter to use and that a lot of people use them. Oh yes, I also trade them in for cake. Cake tastes better. Jeb. 09-30-2003, 11:28 PM Again, prompt 1st, deny 3rd. PHP Builder
