Hmm, not fun. Looks like portupgrade borked some dependency that PHP needed and a SIGHUP didn't catch. Down 6 hours while I was running around visiting clients. I need some script to beep me when this happens.

Lessons for the young sysadmin. Pull up your page after messing with apachectl, even if nothing looks funny at the shell prompt.
