I am getting problem with PHP 4.3.3 and Apache 1.3 running on Windows 2000 Professional. I have configured EVERYTHING. When I try to access .php page a File Download box appears asks to save the file to disk or open it.

Why it is doing this? I have installed and reinstalled PHP and Apache several times but the problem is still there.

Can anybody helps me? Thanks.

i have the same problem!! exactly the same, and i can`t solve it,

you are configure wrong !

php 4.3 onwards works with apache 2, i believe its not back ward compat, either upgrade yr version of apache to a recent version 2.0.48 or use an earlier vesion of php version 4.2 or lower.

better to use new releases, for security reasons if any at all, there are packages that have these lamp tools bundled, foxserv php traid, there may be commercial though.

shot me an email for mo , if needed, me iam trying to get vewr sion 5 of php beta2 running on win 2k apache 2.48 perl 5.8, may go back to the previous version .
