Open Source Scandinavia

I am a professor at a college in Atlanta, GA, and I am in the process of planning a trip to Germany, Sweden and Finland for my students in the multimedia and web design department. I would like to take my students to a number of companies or organizations who are deeply involved in the development or use of open source technologies. I am looking for some of the iconoclasts of the industry. PHP is a hot topic in our program right now and I think they would get much out of visiting real world organizations setting standards.

Does anyone have good recommendations for me? Design/development firms, government organizations that have made the switch to all open source or related groups?
