Is in these days I always remember a phrase that I hear around...
"The only way to reach the dawn, is through the nigth"
Sleeping, plaiyng a game, dancing, drinking... :D
P.s: Ohhh! Now that I've learned to write "2003" in any date field, is the 2004. So I've to work one other year to learn to write 2004!

If I didn't know better, I'd say, "married", 'cause my wife is rather peeved at the amount of time I've been in front of the monitor lately ;)

Ahhhh, right, I'd heard about you geeks. Rumor is, once you hit that "married" status, half your time goes away. Is that true? Then, I know one guy who used to be a "married" geek, but now he's a "divorced" geek, and he tells me that one you hit this status, your time comes back, but half of your belongings disappear. Don't know which one is the worse evil :D

Belongings? What do you need besides a PC and internet?
piersk
01-04-2004, 06:35 PM
I'd agree with that. Dale was kinda right tho, was with my girlfriend over the new year (from the day after boxing day).
I think the correct phrase here is "under the thumb"

You guys just need to marry a fellow geek and then your spouse won't care :D - the only prob is you should make sure you have more than one computer, or at the very least a computer and an X-Box for a back-up.

Happy New Year... - I think life has only just come back to me... a 3 day hangover ? Or was it the cold & snow making me feel like s*it ?
Back to work though - what a joy that is...

Yes and not...
It's about earth and sun, so is about NZ, UK or other in the planet.
Perihelion is opposite of Aphelion.
And in the middle there is halloween... :D

I just didn't understand why she could be so unhappy ... her computer is the same speed as mine, I have 192M RAM, she has 512M RAM on hers (it's Windows and needs it) and every habitable building on the farm has 100 Mbps Ethernet ... and she's not happy?
Now I know ... she's not a geek! Gee, after 16 years, why didn't I catch that??!
Or, OTOH, maybe she is a geek and found out about the bandwidth limiter between her box and the gateway....
:D

Dear Abby:
How can I make sure that my SO is a geek?
Socially Maladjusted
Dear Mal,
Put a bandwidth limiter on their box and see if they notice.
Abby.
