localhost site only works when online!!!

I think that this may be a problem with the set up of my Apache2 httpd config file, but my site which I am developing on my local machine will only work when I am connected to the internet!!

When I am offline, a message pops up saying 'This site is not available offline'.

Is this something to do with the Port 80 thing? Any ideas? Thanks.

Make sure you have on the internet explorer workoffline unchecked.


even when you are offline so it can work. If it tries to dial, then you must configure that when offline not to dial.
