There's a petition to get a pardon for her and I think it's bull. Sign my opposing petition. You can also send this chain message out to your friends.
Martha Stewart is a *****. She deserves to go to jail. Sign this petition and pass this message on to 10 people and tomorrow someone you don't like will get in trouble.

Celebrity or not...she's human...she commited a crime...she deserves jail time. Easy and simple, same thing goes with Micheal Jackson...

Man, how do you ever expect to win when you don't have the merchandise (http://www.savemartha.com/)?
OMFG what a joke?
I think justice for those in Guantanamo Bay should be of more pressing concern.

Well, she would only get a pardon if Bush loses. Do we really think it's possible that he will lose?
Sigh...v

I got an idea...make a reality TV show about how well Martha Stewart can decorate a jail cell while wearing an orange jumpsuit!

I am surprised at the lack of outrage at the laws Martha violated. I always thought lying to anyone anytime was your god-given right unless under oath. Now I guess that if you tell a tall tale, you may be subject you to prison time?
And these guys & girls (congress) are the "representatives of the people". :)

And these guys & girls (congress) are the "representatives of the people". :) I suppose it's a "God given right", inasmuch as He doesn't force our behavior. IMHO, it's a right that shouldn't be exercised, however.
I don't know if I'm surprised about the lack of outrage re: the *law*; the public is basically catatonic under the media's influence; hardly anyone thinks original thoughts anymore, and many don't think at all.... Furthermore, we have become arrogant enough in this country that we generally think the law applies to everyone except ourselves. Very dangerous methinks....

I've been too catatonic to pay attention to the media lately (wtf is Martha Stewart anyway?). What's she supposed to have lied about to whom?

re: weed, martha is a (supposed) goddess of anything home-decorating and food related. she's accused of insider trading.
