Apache: Changing some things...

I've recently installed Apache for PHP development, but i cant see how to change much!

I've got a config file, and thats all i know. Is there a web based admin panel some where? I simply cannot find it!

I dont know how to do anything with it, make passworded directories etc! If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be great!

If you've installed it on Linux then get webmin

That will allow you to configure loads of stuff via a control panel type interface.

I don't know of anything similar for windows. You may just have to read the guides at apache and edit the httpd.conf file.

Argh! Its on Windows XP (just on a local PC) does anyone know of anything for this? Even something web based???
