I'm currently reading Lao Tze's Tao Te Ching (a/the book on Taoism) and have come to realize that a lot of the principles of Taoism can be applied to programming priciples very easily (simplicity of form leads to greatness of character springs to mind). I don't know if anyone has ever heard of the Tao of Poo (or Taoism for that matter) but it's basically a book describing Taoism in term of Poo bear, and how Poo is actually a near perfect personification (or bearification if we want to be picky ;)) of a Taoist sage. I was thinking that the title of this thread would be a brilliant title for a book and that the book could (in the hands of a good enough author) be a brilliant book. I was just wondering if anyone else thinks this is a pretty cool idea or if it's already been done. If it has already been done I would love to read it :D
Answers on a postcard (addressed to this thread ;))
