How long is it sticking around for?

The RC of the latest version of PHP (4.3.5) was released about 10 days ago (approx) but how long is v4 going to be around for? Obviously v5 is being developed in tandem with v4, but the powers that be must be thinking of stopping development on v 4 soon.

Anyone know if a date for this has been decided?

Not sure of any release dates... but as far as hosting goes... I'd wager it takes the majority of webhosts about a year to upgrade to PHP5.

PHP5 RC1 is out. I think that people might start making the switch now...or later...depends...and now that PHP 4.3.5 is out, it's all good; people will probably want to stay with the stable release of PHP 4.3.4, or they might want to switch to the new stable release of 4.3.5, but people will soon be flocking to PHP 5.
