Is 100MB too little an amount of web space to offer?

In most cases, 100MB is more than enough, unless the person plan to start a site that might get quite large.

Not at all of course not everyone is going to start at 100mb for example a website that has streaming data will require much more

Very true, but with 5GB bandwidth per month, I'm not aiming at that crowd...

with hindsight I should have mentioned that before

okay i doubt anyone with only 5gb bandwidth per month is going to even require anywhere near 100Mb

Your target is basically new users to hosting that have some web design/development skills. With that id say yes depending on what your charging if anything.

£25 per year - my target market is students... hence the website will be (not available just yet): studenthosting.co.uk

I would think that might sell. Just my 2 cents.

students i know are tight but they want solid hosting, 100mb and 5gb should be enough for mosts needs when starting off

hope it goes well for you
