One of your flash advertisments is causing my mac's web browsers to crash. I've tried: Internet Explorer, Safari, Camino, Mozilla, Firefox, Omniweb and Opera. They all crash. No other sites do this -- i'm forced to view this site in lynx, which isn't exactly ideal. Maybe you could consider fixing it? Thanks. Sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place, or someone else has posted it, but browsing these forums in lynx doesn't really encourage me to search etc.

PS: It won't let me submit this form unless I attach a file, so i had to attach some junk (Lynx)

Try firefox with adblock (http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/#adblock).

Sounds like your flash plugin. What version are you running (flash & OS)?
I've never had a problem with flash or this site on my machine (Panther); used/using Safari (latest), Firefox, Mozilla, whatever.

I'm using OS 10.3.3 and the latest flash player from macromedia.com (downloaded today)

Thats really odd... I wonder what's different about that ad/flash versus other flash animations....

.. I wouldn't know of course.. I don't see any ads (Firefox+Adblock :D)

it's definitely the ad here. i've browed around 15+ other flash sites today and have had zero problems.

if you're too lazy yo use adblock, you can always get the flash click-to-view plugin (for firefox)

<-- wishes people would stop using ad blockers so that PHP Builder could pay for itself.

:(

Alias, can you pick out which ad it is? I know that may be a dumb question, but maybe it's in cache or something? If so, I'll notify the ad dept.

I totally understand where you're coming from, but I'm sorry man, I have to, or I go insane. But rest assured, I don't click on banner ads anyway, so you technically aren't losing any ad dollars on my account :D

Another thing to keep in mind... Google ads aren't as easily blocked, and I personally don't mind them. In fact, I can put up with most ads that aren't garish or blinking at me--which unfortunately are in the minority. :(

I've taken up the policy of blocking ads by domain (which means....:)). I note that Mozilla still requests the ad, however - I just don't see it.

But then, I don't click on them either. Well, maybe sometimes. Very rarely. Assuming my cortical implants don't filter it out after all.

Me too :)
You get more accidental clicks out of me now than if I saw them. Ad Blockers might be working in your advantage for some :p
