Hi everybody

I have a whole rake of reeeeeeeally dumb Linux questions which I'm not going to waste your valuable time with (1. How do you access the contents of a CD or indeed any other external medium using the shell? ... )

I've had a look at cybertechhelp.com (very friendly) and also at linuxquestions.org (nice, but the tutorials and articles are a bit sparse).

Anyone know of a reliable and comprehensive stopping-off point for newbie tutorials and introductions. I'm currently working through a good shell tutorial (Learning the shell (http://gd.tuwien.ac.at/linuxcommand.org/learning_the_shell.html)), but it doesn't tell me everything I want to know.

Thanks for any pointers you can offer.

Norm

PS: My distro is SuSe 9.0 Pro

I'd say a reliable forum is linuxquestions.org, linuxforums.org, or justlinux, as far as tutorials and help, you can't beat the oldest and most comprehesive set of tuts on Linux, the Linux Documentation Project over at linuxdoc.org
