What did you all think of it. bubblenut 07-09-2004, 10:18 AM I didn't know ants where especially trusting, sounds interesting ;) redrabbit 07-09-2004, 10:38 AM Originally posted by bubblenut I didn't know ants where especially trusting, sounds interesting ;) lol, ants can be very untrustworthy - especially the red ones :-( piersk 07-10-2004, 10:09 PM Yeah, I've seen it before. It's an awesome film IMO. Tim Robbins plays an excellent parody of Bill Ga.... I mean random software company owner :D ZibingsCoder 07-10-2004, 10:29 PM piersk...I just stared at your avatar for about 15 minutes straight... pyro 07-10-2004, 11:32 PM Originally posted by ZibingsCoder piersk...I just stared at your avatar for about 15 minutes straight... As I gather, a lot of people stare at piers' balls.... ZibingsCoder 07-11-2004, 12:21 AM Is -THAT- what they are?! I couldn't figure it out...they just...bounce...and smile...and bounce...and smile... piersk 07-11-2004, 12:37 AM I'd just like to point out one thing... they don't smile. They just get on with the job in hand ZibingsCoder 07-11-2004, 12:38 AM ... piersk 07-11-2004, 12:39 AM Originally posted by ZibingsCoder ... My sentiments exactly :p ZibingsCoder 07-11-2004, 12:42 AM I'm not sure if I'm utterly disgusted...or throroughly amused... I believe it's time for me to start eating my gummi worms again, the effects are wearing off. piersk 07-12-2004, 06:06 AM Oooh, I bought this film yesterday (£5.99 from Woolies if anyone in the UK is interested). Haven't got around to watching it yet tho. Maybe tonight... redrabbit 07-12-2004, 07:40 AM You've seen it already havent you ? I thought it was an ok film - beats hackers anyway :D piersk 07-12-2004, 07:55 AM Originally posted by redrabbit You've seen it already havent you ? Yeah, but I really liked it I thought it was an ok film - beats hackers anyway :D I dunno... it's a different kind of film IMO. Hackers just gives true hackers (i.e. those who code rather than crackers) a bad name. redrabbit 07-12-2004, 09:40 AM agreed. tommynanda 07-12-2004, 01:13 PM Office Space is more fun... piersk 07-12-2004, 02:05 PM Originally posted by tommynanda Office Space is more fun... Yeah, but Anti-Trust doesn't portray itself to be a comedy film. I think it does very well to explain the point of OS software. tommynanda 07-12-2004, 02:16 PM Agree with you... but Anti-Trust was funny too... I mean copying code using a Video Cam?... If it wasnt Tim Robbins... it could've been lot more funny :D piersk 07-13-2004, 05:53 AM Originally posted by tommynanda Agree with you... but Anti-Trust was funny too... I mean copying code using a Video Cam?... If it wasnt Tim Robbins... it could've been lot more funny :D See, I think Tim Robbins is excellent in this film. Admittedly it's no Shawshank, but he's still amazing as a parody of Ol' Billy G redrabbit 07-13-2004, 07:10 AM As i watched the movie i was very very interested, as the likeless to Bill Gates - as i imagine - was amazing. I bet he's just like that. I did enjoy the movie. tommynanda 07-13-2004, 03:02 PM See, I think Tim Robbins is excellent in this film. Admittedly it's no Shawshank, but he's still amazing as a parody of Ol' Billy G Thats wat I meant... He made the movie look serious... If Tim Robbins wasnt casted... it could've been worse... Pirates of Silicon Valley was better than that... And yeah Shawshank... one of my favorite movies :) redrabbit 07-13-2004, 05:06 PM I live in silicon valley in the uk - about 8 minutes from the Microsoft Campus. I shamefully - in my desperation - asked them for a summer job. And in my embarassement - they turned me down.
