I've recently installed IIS on my Windows XP Pro machine

I can view the default webpage by typing http://localhost/
on the LOCAL machine but when I try to view it from another machine on the LAN by typing the IP address I can't view it.

What do I need to configure inorder to view my IIS webpage from another machine on the LAN?

In standard condition, it should work. check whether you are able to access other computer on the LAN. you can use ping from other computer to your machine on LAN .try your machine name also.
Hope it helps.............

I recently installed SP2 so the firewall on it was turned on.
I opened port 80 and that solved my problem.
I'm now able to access my IIS webpage from another computer on my LAN.

THANKS,
