PHPEclipse plugin?

I've heard good things about PHPEclipse, so I thought I'd try it.

I got all of these folders out of the zip file:

net.sourceforge.phpeclipse213
net.sourceforge.phpeclipse.debug.core
net.sourceforge.phpeclipse.debug.ui
net.sourceforge.phpeclipse.launching
net.sourceforge.phpeclipse.nl1
net.sourceforge.phpeclipse.phphelp
net.sourceforge.phpeclipse.phphelp.nl1
net.sourceforge.phpeclipse.sql

All of them are now contained within eclipse\plugins\


But, according to this article (http://www.phpbuilder.com/columns/chow20040921.php3?page=3 ) if I go to
File -> New -> Project...

I'm supposed to have the option of creating a PHP project, but it is not listed.


I've restarted my computer since adding these files. What could I be forgetting?

Eclipse and PHPEclipse plugin is great, especially if you develop in other programming languages too.

Anyway, there should also be at least one file in your ZIP that needs to go in Eclipse's 'features' directory instead of them all going in the 'plugins' directory.

Maybe you have unzipped them without preserving their directory structure?
