apache service problem

i installed apache 1, then uninstalled it but it somehow didn't uninstall the service, so now there is an apache 1 service and i need to remove it, because none apache works and i think it's because of the unwanted service. thank you for your answer if you understood the question.

ps. with 'apache 1' i meant apache 1.3.3.3. or whatever

What Operating System you using? If your on windows the service should be deleted. If not you may need to check all the files were deleted properly in the process. Then open services in the Control Panel and find and remove the service.
