I have a peer to peer software called emule. I have install it but i cannot connect to the server. im using windows xp. do i have to set up in my network or what?

But why use such a program, you can try to make the p2p connection using the windows network wizard itself. cpu5594 06-06-2005, 09:50 AM If it is your server do this: - If you have a cable/broadband (like WOW), you can buy a hub, hook it up to your router (which is connected to the cable box ((not the one for the TV, the one for internet. Mine is a Webstar.)) ). After that, take ethernet wires and hook your server and your workstation up to the hub and, viola! both machines have internet! Then configure the machines for networking. done... -If you don't want to do that then all you have to do is connect the two machines with an ethernet wire and configure them. :D PHP Builder
