PHP 4 vs. PHP5

hi to all;

- i have question is possible to use scripts writen for PHP4 on PHP5?

- why am I asking this? beccause I have a website made for PHP4 and I use there MySql database. And now I would like to change my webhosting server, but they are using PHP5.

- is there a difference between PHP4 and PHP5.

most scripts for php4 will run on php5. vice versa you might have some issues, but it depends if you are using the new php5 features.

there are however some slight differences. here is something you might want to take a look at. migrating php4 to php5 (http://docs.php.net/en/migration5.html).
