Install PHP and MySQL on laptop

Is it possible to install PHP and MySQL on a laptop so I can code and test my script without uploading my scripts to a server?

If you are running Windows on your laptop...check out www.nusphere.com

They offer a free technology platform taht will install Perl, PHP, and Apache on your windows machine with one executable.

However, I'm not sure if they bundle php5 with it, or if they still are including a version of PHP4.x
