I've been shopping around for a good water cooling system, and recently found the Zalman company's "Reserator 1 Plus (http://www.zalmanusa.com/usa/product/view.asp?idx=160&code=) " kit, and am very intrigued.
Does anyone else have or know of a good water cooling system? Specifically, the Zalman water cooling system is fanless and has adapters to fit the CPU, Graphics Card GPU, heatsinks for the Graphics Card RAM, and the Northbridge chip on my motherboard. Even if it only cools the CPU itself, I'd be interested to see any other suggestions/reviews from other users.

This is the only way to go - the chinese were the first to do it, plus you can compost it later if you decide you want something more industrial revolution.

I've read some good & bad things about the Zalman
Check out FrozenCPU.com, they have tons of high-end water cooling. I don't think these "all-in-one" systems are worth the money. I wouldn't trade performance for looks... just my 2c :)

I've heard so much good, and only a few bad.
FrozenCPU.com is where I'll probably end up buying it:
http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-wat-66.html -- $279.99 + $10.86 shipping ($290.85 total)
(Along with some Arctic Silver 5 thermal pase, of course!)
Yeah I did a lot of research on it and came to the conclusion that it's only good for beginners or lazy people ;)
I decided to put that money into a 6800 Ultra video card instead, who needs a quiet PC anyways?

Well, it's not the fact that I need a quiet PC (though I'd love it) just a cooler one. Right now my temps are waaaay too high.
CPU (Idle): 133F/56C
Mobo (Idle): 96F/36C
CPU (Load): 168F/76C
Mobo (Load): 110F/43C
And if the program is really CPU intensive, it can climb higher.
I've never built a water cooled system but I have been looking into it. I don't think there is a single water cooling system available that can beat high-end fans (like the Deltas), I think it's mainly for keeping your PC cool while minimizing the noise.
The Reserator 1 Plus looks nice, never saw that one, only the blue one.
What kind of processor are you running that is so hot? I've got a 90nm AMD 64 3500+ (939) and it runs a steady 39C and around 49-52C on heavy load. CPU fan is a Thermaltake Venus 12

Perhaps you should just throw it into a vat of vegetable oil...really...

I read the other day that P4's can get up to 70C and still be perfectly fine :queasy:

Even if that's true, that's just to hot. Ambient temperature rises too, and I have a max temperature too! :p

Saves on the heating bill...
Plus, it kinda creates a borg like environment for the Trekkies

LOL!
Well, it sure saves on the heating bill, but um.. it's summer! :( Maybe I'll just turn off the cooling system in the winter...
