That would be pretty cool, I'm sure there is tutorials on the main site, but the forum is where its at :)

That is what (like you said) the main site is for and many MANY other websites out there do.

Seems a tad pointless to me, firstly yes the main site has tutorials, there are also probably a few million PHP tutorials on the web a simple google search and you could find them.
