I'm not announcing a new project per se nor am I asking for free help (since I will be a volunteer as well)...I could pull this off myself but I think it's better to find more muscle.

There are a billion xml feeds out there now many of which are from PHP experts and social bookmarking systems (ie del.icio.us, diggs, etc). It would be interesting to try to pull as many feeds together as possible and put them in one location - where, I don't know (here?, a new domain?, an existing domain?).

We'd grab feeds, parse, put into a db, and output...connecting to a forum might be an interesting idea (I'm thinking about how MacBytes (http://www.macbytes.com/) does things).

Dumb idea? Anybody want to try this? I'll take the lead unless somebody else wants to do so...

PS: It sure has been quiet around here lately? Do we need to revive a CSS thread or something? ;)

Yep. I am told by the powers that be that this is already being contemplated around here.
