Hey does anybody know if there is a Frappr (http://frappr.com) for PHP Users? I couldn't find one but I don't know how sophisticated their search is... if there isn't one, I'll start one.

I couldn't find one but I don't know how sophisticated their search is... if there isn't one, I'll start one. drew010 10-27-2005, 08:08 PM thats pretty cool, i have never seen that site before. a guy on devshed made his own script like that for devshed members, but i have not seen any reference to a php one. i see that there is a php one set up on that site but its for #php @ EFnet irc people. i think that it would be cool, either for php builder or just php enthusiasts in general. dalecosp 10-27-2005, 10:56 PM I think, "Go for it". You're our official PHP "Pet" anyway ;) Well, now, maybe that doesn't sound quite right. I'm afraid the term may have perjorated to infer that pet == "some kind of plaything". Quite seriously, you are "our intrepid reporter". You're a successful author. You're an icon for the EL. So, lead on, Queen E! They just released the API (via Javascript) a few weeks ago and alot of coders are wetting their pants over it. Check it out at http://www.google.com/apis/maps/ and get wet yourself. ;) Elizabeth 10-28-2005, 08:58 AM OK I started one, but I didn't limit it to just PHPBuilder, so spread the word :) http://www.frappr.com/phpusers vaaaska 10-28-2005, 10:10 AM One has to live in the states...it won't work for me... Elizabeth 10-28-2005, 10:13 AM One has to live in the states...it won't work for me... There is a link under the "zip code" field that says "Not in the US? Click here". If you go there, you can enter your city instead of your zip code. That should allow you to do it. vaaaska 10-28-2005, 10:19 AM There is a link under the "zip code" field that says "Not in the US? G: I'm 45255 so it thinks I'm the heart of Anderson twp. Rodney H. 10-29-2005, 01:57 AM This is too cool. I had to add something, too. *smile* Thanks for settting this up, Elizabeth.
