Hi All,

I have our win 2003 server up and running with Apache 2.0.58, MySQL 5.0.22, and PHP 5.1.4 and I am looking for an ecommerce (shopping cart) solution.

Before anyone replies, I tried, many, many times to install osCommerce and it will not work. At least with the amount (I am being facious here) of support (lack of) with PHP 5. I have posted to their forum here (http://forums.oscommerce.com/index.php?showtopic=219939) and from the posts there, I searched and it is a PHP5 issue and nobody has resolved it with anything even close to a fix.

I would like to be able to integrate the cart with Quickbooks (http://www.marketplace.intuit.com/search.asp?type=&Category=276&sTerm=&Page=1)
but it is not imperative.

Anyone have anything they are using that is decent?

Thanks in advance,
Don

I recommend www.zencart.com (http://www.zencart.com) (which I'm sure is a shock to everyone here) - it's an offshoot of oscommerce, but much cleaner. I don't know about exporting to quickbooks, but I'm sure it could be done by exporting into a csv.

Elizabeth you post zencart on the board more than I post www.servage.net, which is a great hosting solution for such applications like zencart by the way ;)

I know of a guy who was making $30k/year off of DreamHost referrals (and no, I'm not joking). I still can't figure out why Jason isn't using a referral number? I actually check every time too. ;)

I haven't paid for hosting in a long time :D I always spam it to people when I can get away with it. Sitepoint didn't like it when I posted the coupon in the URL... I did have it in my signature here but was asked nicely to remove it.

To keep this post on topic, I have just been asked to find an ecommerce solution other than OsCommerce... anything else out there that uses PHP which is powerful? Can be paid for I guess...
