Hi there everyone,
Apache: 1.3.36
PHP: 4.4.2
MySQL: 4.1.21
Please excuse my ignorance in this. PHP is installed, but I think that it's installed incorrectly, or at least some initial settings are incorrect.
On my new server, I've attempted to install a few different scripts that require someone to log in. A few of the scripts seem to work fine(two shopping carts), but others(identical to the scripts running on my old server) won't place a cookie when the user attempts to log in(php-nuke, phpBB).
One of the script support forums suggested a server problem, but I don't know where to begin looking!
Could someone help me figure out how to tell what causes the cookie not to get placed? Is there a common configuration problem that causes this?
