does anyone know of any decent WHM Systems that dont require cpanel?

i just bought a new hosting plan that comes with 165gb of storage and wanted to make some money out of it.

What kind of hosting plan? Is it a virtual machine?

If it's virtual hosting, you probably won't be able it resell it as normal. For that you'd have to have a reseller package. WHM Autopilot is the best I've seen, but it might require cPanel (though may work without it).

Thats that I was going to say. (Usually) to run something like that you need either access to cpanel/whm that has been pre-installed or root access to the server.

However, dreamhosts does allow you to host unlimited domain names so you would just have to set people up manually rather than using something like whm

Have a look at your admin area. On my hosting I just use the menu option to add a new virtual server and designate the directory to use as document root. There is nothing else the user needs to do except update DNS at the registry to point to their DNS servers. Can be a new domain or just a subdomain which is great as it save me having to mess around in .htaccess

Make sure you read your hosts TOC as most hosts do not allow you to sell hosting other than using a reseller package.
