help! how can i install and use phpchat??

i have installed PHPSimpleChat v0.2 (.zip) for php5. PROB??
i got it here http://www.ebrueggeman.com/phpsimplechat/downloads.php.
also the installation set - up but its not working. is there anybody here who knows this PHPSimpleChat v0.2 (.zip)?? thank you! hope you can help me.

thank you for your reply. ive check out the site but i cant find what suites my running app. i have apache 2.2,php5 and mysqli as database installed. thank you very much anyways.

I would recommend phpFreeChat (http://www.phpfreechat.net/) which is simple to install and doesnt even require database(althought you can use it if you like).

thank you! i have installed freechat and its running smoothly but i cant understand the code hehe its so many waaaaaaaah. but thank you very much anyways.
