I am sorry to post here but didn't see the echo lounge. This relates to PHP because I"m going to use it for tutorials =)

Is there any freeware for recording the screen, mouse moves, and my voice for creating a tutorial? Links appreciated

I use Jing (http://www.jingproject.com) which records screen-casts (up to 5 minutes), screen captures, and saves them as either jpg or swf files.

For an example of some screen casts, you can go to here (http://www.bpatterson.net/jing_caps) to see a couple screen-casts I created for a bug of Trillian Astra. It's free-ware and works like a charm.

I really like Camtasia 5.0, unfortunatly it's not free unfortunatly but it does everything you would need.

You should look at the Jing project..... it's essentially open source Camtasia ;)

EDIT: Huh... TechSmith creates Camtasia Studio, and they're the ones behind Jing. It's probably the same software just with some limits. So if you can limit your movies to 5 minutes (which is usually a good idea because of internet speeds) stick with the free version ;) Otherwise, shell out the $300.

Camtasia does have a full featured 30 day trial though. So if you need it less than 30 days, it would work for you.

There are also a few others:

Wink (http://www.debugmode.com/wink/)
Video Screen Capture (http://www.smallvideosoft.com/screen-video-capture/)

Probably not the best, but probably will work

HyperCam (http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/) - Free version puts a small watermark on video but thats about it.

Not sure about the voice part though, could edit it in later or something.
