kk this is sorta a caryy on thread from http://phpbuilder.com/board/showthread.php?t=10366487, i made a new one cos i didnt know if anyone would read it sience it has a rosolved thing in its title, but i put the &nbsp in as i was advised and it works fine on firefox but i have just noticed that on IE it has moved the bar into the middle instead of on the left hand side like it is in firefox. Not sure what you mean... both browsers seemed to render the DIV just fine. Here's what I used to test:

<html>
<head>
<style type="text/css">
#bar {
background: url(http://mcilveen.100webspace.net/images/bars_green.gif) repeat-x;
width: 150px;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
Test:
<div id="bar">&nbsp;</div>
</body>
</html>

kk the problem is that if you view the page in IE the bars are centered in the middle of the table and if you view it in Firefox then it works fine, i think i know why ur getting confuzzled, its because the bar is full lemme change then try looking at it again.kk done
