We have 4 sales people with name@mywebsite.com. Our sales reps use this email to follow up with clients.

We also do email marketing (CANN spam compliant) to our customers.

What is the best approach to email marketing so we can send out emails to our customers through our email marketing, but not have any advese effects of these emails to impact the sales emails?

We find that we are blocked by some bogus "pay to get off" blacklists in Europe, and our email/host provider IP address (GoDaddy) is blocked. A few of our sales reps are also having problems writing single emails to customers that are not getting through.

What is the best approach to be efficient marketers but also have your single emails to customers get through?

Yes we had that with some of our broadband supplier's smtp relay servers earlier this year. There is not much you can do about it either since you have no control over GoDaddy's servers. It is up to them to take the initiative: easy enough really, just change the IP address of the relay server that is being blocked.

In my case I spent a lot of time contacting support at hotmail, yahoo and the like with examples of the emails we send: these are individual messages sent to established clients through an automated system I wrote. In the end we just had to wait it out since me boss would not take my advise and change broadband supplier to one that implements SID correctly.

The only action you can take is to relay via some other supplier if GoDaddy don't get this sorted.

I recommend that you use a different email address for each campaign and forward replies to the necessary people. That way replies to each campaign can be identified, monitored and managed more easily. This is independent of your 'blocking' problem which is down to the relay servers and not your domain.
