Do I need php_mysql.dll ???

I am a real novice to this whole php thing and having installed PHP and mysql on my NT server which all appears to be working i notice in the php.ini file that i can add a php_mysql.dll file to increase the functionality

My question is do i need it and where do i get it

I don't know where you can actually get it, but I didn't use that function and I'm using PHP4 and MySQL on windows NT server (iis4) and it works like a charm.

I've already build a voting system, forum and I'm now building a counter. So far, I haven't noticed anything I can't use and should use...

So I'd say your fine without it, at least for the most major functions.

But then again, I've only just began ;-)
