System: NT4 SP6a IIS4.0
Followed readme.txt to the letter but when I try to restart the W3SVC
services I get a Dr watson message (inetinfo.exe access violation) and the
service crashes. Anyone else had this problem?

Hi,

Try to use the CGI mode of php4. I've been hearing rumours about php4isapi.dll not being developed completely and bugs can occur.

I've encountered a few access violations which actually dropped my php build forum dead at the spot, coming back on after that and then going dead again.

The error I received (from PHP) in my browser was that PHP caused a access violation.

So I've configured the server to use the CGI mode of PHP (I'm using php4ts.exe) and it seems fixed now.

Hello,

I would like to know how to config the server to use CGI mode of PHP and where to download the "pp4ts.exe"?

Thanks!
Carlos

I have the same problem and can not seem to find a fix.
I am using SBS 4.5 with NT sp4.
If you found a fix that works i would be extremely grateful for any pointers.

Many Thanks
